BCD was engaged to give the CosMax brand a sophisticated interior design for its new Tsim Sha Tsui Medical Aesthetic Centre in Hong Kong. The intention was to convey and envelop clients in a professional atmosphere, but not look overly clinical. The resulting design uses beautiful, subtle touches and materials that have been inspired by the concept of a flower – the white peony.
As clients enter, they are welcomed into a reception area, the walls of which resemble the overlapping petals of the peony. The glass material was chosen specifically because of its translucent quality, again in homage to the flower and its delicate skin-like petals. A neutral palette featuring a taupe colour scheme exudes a calming and comforting atmosphere.
